Meditation with your Mandala

The Mandala represents the sacred area where spiritual experiences can arise. The relation that settles down through the contemplation of the geometry of the Mandala urges a meditation state that helps to explore the corners of psique. The Mandalas are described as diagrams of the cosmos in an external sense and - in an internal sense- as guides towards meditation practices.

In order to meditate with your Mandala, you have to put it in front of you, to the height of your eyes to a distance of approximately 80 cm. In a calm atmosphere, in complete silence or with relaxing music. You have to fixe your glance to the center of the Mandala but observing the "whole", trying to blink less possible (with your sight something outside center). Leave your thoughts flowing without grapple them. The person who is meditating must locate herself in the center of the Mandala thinking that she is integrally related to the intrincate design of the Universe.

After two or three minutes you will be able to observe how the colors and the forms begin "to shine"; a few minutes later, you will begin to even feel how the energy acts in all your body, altering conscience states.
You will verify a direct purification when your eyes will shed tears, due to the force of the intense colors and the forms.

The time to meditate with your Mandala is relative; the therapeutic effects begin to take place almost immediately since we have a deep visual contact with the Mandala. It would be advisable to meditate about fifteen daily minutes; the most time you meditate, better results it will give you.
